“The partnership was established nearly five years ago, and the British Heart Foundation (BHF) has been enormously grateful for the fundraising support it has received from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association (AMA). Across the UK members of AMA have taken part in a number of initiatives and activities to help fund the vital and pioneering work undertaken by the BHF. I would like to thank each and everyone of them for their commitment. The majority of the money raised by AMA has been directed to the BHF’s Mending Broken Hearts Appeal which funds our most ambitious research programme ever, bringing together the world’s leading scientists in regenerative medicine. The research aims to repair heart muscle damaged by a heart attack. Our scientists believe that we could find a cure within a generation.
